Why you should have a pet

Hi there I'm pipa and I'll Be persuading you about why you should have a pet.many of the pets in new Zealand have homes but others are being put down, run over, or abandon. So listen to my three great reasons why you and your family should adopt a kind loving pet.

Firstly I think you would appreciate your parents going through all of that trouble getting a cat ,dog or fish but there are lots to chose from. It also teaches you responsibility like feeding it.

Secondly if you're lonely round the house you could always rely on your pet to keep you company if you are bored. There's no doubt that your pet will cheer you up  either? You will always be happy.

Thirdly pets are living things and deserve a home if you don't have a pet I think you should buy one. It also reduces stress levels,makes you a better person and gives you something to be responsible for.

In Conclusion I will remind you

My first reason was Many have homes others don't so help them out and buy one. my second reason was appreciation and gives you something to do. My last reason was pets deserve a home and it also teaches you responsibility

So there you have it my three reasons why your parents should adopt a pet for you.

2016

Wow 2015 was a blast and I can't wait for Mrs hill to announce the young leaders for this year but 2016 so far has been great with camp and all the new people in Kauri 89 and my teachers are awesome as well. I think i managed to know all my classmates names. But so far I think I most enjoyed going to camp omatua with the hub and making those awesome card bored box cars as well as…

• Bush bashing
• Going to the river
• watching paddington and watching Mr Ford dress up as a whater and serve the people who got the best cleaning up and working together.

My year in 2015 was good but I bet this year is going to be better.

Year fun

This year has been great with all the fun adventures and new classmates I have done and met. In TERM ONE I enjoyed meeting all the new people in room 20 also swimming and house competitions and I bet the year sixes were looking forward to the badges. We also got an opportunity to join kapa haka (so fun). In TERM TWO we went to CAMP KAITAWA and learned to work together and know people a little bit more than we already do. We also created our own assembly item to perform to the school. IN TERM THREE we watched the year 2s and 3s do the fun run and we also got an opportunity to run competitive or fun run ourselves. We also got to go Opt Sailing at Pandora Pond. Here we are

in TERM FOUR with safe cycling and rock and roll coming up. What a year we have planned. but still we have allot more like triathlon and year six social. This year has been great.

In 2016 i hope to see all my year six friends like Ella,Jazzy,Ash,Pia,Siena,Maddie and Brooklyn. I also hope to become a house leader,road patroler,digi leader and promotional leader...

Marshmellow

Sitting in the deep dark forest it's not really a good place to be at midnight.  I grab a stick and light in on fire and place it down.  I sit down and relax in the warm heat.Suddenly I hear the water move I stay still and calm.  Then I hear the bushes and I turn around their infront of me stood a Tall, fat,purple,fuzzy monster with eyes shaped as hearts.

Suddenly something caught the corner of my eye I wasn't to sure what it was but then I clicked i knew What it wanted.

I move the marshmallow towards me and away,up,down and in circles I think it had a love for marshmallows I throw the Marshmallow in its mouth and he suprizenley catches it.

Marshmallow after marshmallow if feed my awesome new mellow pet delicious marshmallows until when that moment came when I hade no more delicious marshmallows.

only an empty bag of nothing but gooey souls. My monstrous pet flipped inside out to be a meat eating monster. It growled and howled to be a marshmallow freak with hilariously fuzzy purple fur.

I ran to the lake away from the campfire whale that empty bag of mellow souls were keeping that horrifying monster from eating me raw:(. I run and run until I cross the river and it comes to a stop were the monster had me cornered.

I scream for help but no one hears me. ‘I knew it wasn't a good idea for me to run across the lake it's far enough I had to walk all the way out here to just roast a marshmallow.

until I see that there are a pile of sticks so I slowly creep forward and grab 10 to 14 sticks then out of know we're here comes raining marshmallows I think he may have blown up because he was either

Scared of sticks,got pointed to much or was a no show and it was just my imagination playing tricks. When I poked him with sticks (Maybe) like i said maybe my imagination.

My piece of art was inspired by Shane hansen. The eggs you see in this tree represent the juniors at Parkvale growing to be the digital people we are now. the tree no longer lives on sun and water the knowledge in parkvale school is so big that the tree now lives on knowledge and pride from parkvale. The sun in the corner of the page is now shining light on us to be more helpful to others and the mountains are the levels of funness in parkvale 1.to be brave 2. to grow with pride and 3. to be kind to others.
